NEW ZEALAND FIRST FOR MISHA KOUDINOV
New Zealand's top Men's Artistic Gymnasts (MAG) competed at the Shanghai World Cup event over the weekend of 27th/28th July.
Youngest athlete Misha Koudinov (16) finished with the best result for a New Zealand Gymnast ever.
Misha reached the floor apparatus final and finished in eighth place behind Zou Kai (China), Feng Zhe (China) & Evgeni Bolognosyk (Ukraine).
A tremendous effort considering that it is Misha's debut in a World Cup event and he was competing against some of the worlds best gymnasts from 20 different countries including China, Russia, Japan, Ukraine and Korea.
